Te Puutake

Every week from Invercargill to Kaitaia, Te Puutake has the latest on what's going on for rangatahi around Aotearoa.

Te Puutake is broadcast at different times, day or night, nationwide on George FM, Iwi, Access and Student radio stations as well as on Waiheke Radio!. It's produced in Auckland by the team led by Irene Crawford Kaleopa.

This one-hour long youth show appeals strongly to young Māori and Pacific listeners. There are interviews with top Māori and Pacific sportspeople, achievers and artists, talking about today's hot topics.

Te Puutake is committed to looking after its listeners and helping them reach the top of whatever they choose to do, so there's also a range of life and study tips on everything from hanging in at school or uni, to top shelf advice from an IT expert.

It's also the place to hear the latest Polynesian sounds, and to find out where today's top bands and performers are playing live.
