Correction:

In this podcast Alex Stone claims Councillor Denise Roche did not organise proxy or have anyone else speak for her when the waste management issue was debated by the council committee making the decion on the allocation of the tender.

In fact proxy is not possibe under Council rules and the committee is one on which Denise Roche was not a member and did not have a vote. Councillor Roche also did brief other councillors who subsequently spoke on the wate issuearguing for the rentntion of community control. These councillors were  Cr Cathy Casey, Cr Leila Boyle, Cr Graham Easte, and Cr Richard Northey.

Waiheke Radio apologises for the inaccuracy. We encourage you all to check out the statements from all community board candidates on our website www.waihekeradio.org.nz/candidates
