Surfdale residents are upset about proposals to erect a cell phone transmitter in their midst. Campaigner Stu Reuben says the issue is much wider. He argues that people right across NZ have been denied information and the opportunity to have a say on where cell phone transmitters are sited. Download

Good question about the 500 metres 'safe' zone. It's a matter of convenience vs safety. Look at how much it costs to get rid of convenient asbestos. We went with convenient over safe and now we have the asbestos legacy. What legacy are we leaving if we have stations within 500 metres?
Sad to hear they couldn't be part of your excellent show when Stuart was there. Any chance they could come along to another show to put their side of the discussion across?
