Mr Fox's Childrens' Show

In a Fox hole near the Ostend dump lives Mr Fox and his family of little foxes.  In between scavenging for chicken bones and catching rats,  Mr Fox has assembled a massive collection of classic children’s stories  and songs by picking out old vinyl records from the rubbish.  Combine this with more contemporary material like Harry Potter, the Aunties and Bart Simpson and you have a great two hour radio show for the young listeners and the young-at-heart.

If you or someone you know has a birthday coming up then email Mr Fox on studio@waihekeradio.org.nz.  You can even ring him up on 372 7192  - go on – he won’t bite – well, maybe if you are a chicken.  Give your birthday details to one of the little foxes and you’ll get a birthday shout-out on the radio for all the island to hear.  Feel free to request a favourite song or story.

Mr Fox plays children’s songs and stories every Sunday morning from eight to ten o’clock on Waiheke Radio.
